Anthony J Bowman

Antony J. Bowman was born and educated in Sydney, Australia. He studied at London Film School before making his name as a writer/director with a flair for character-driven films.

Before his feature films, Bowman wrote and directed several short films and two acclaimed documentaries - receiving a Silver Screen Award at the Chicago International Film Festive and a Bronze Award at the New York Film Festival.

Antony's breakthrough feature was an adaptation of his novel, "Paperback Hero." This movie achieved status at both the Hollywood and Milan Film Festivals where it was "In Competition" in both venues.

Antony has just completed the screenplay for the epic, 2nd World War project, "When Heaven Falls" - due for production in 2008; is producer and screenwriter on the ToonzAnimation project, "The Adventures of the Recycle Gang," and finally, writer & director of the upcoming UK thriller, "One Way."
